Pittsburgh Federal Credit Union is a member-owned, not-for-profit, financial
cooperative chartered in 1935. Since our founding Pittsburgh FCU has promoted
the basic credit union philosophy of "People Helping People".
Our credit union exists to meet the financial needs of our members and
their families. To achieve this goal, we offer an array of quality financial
products and services --- all designed for affordability and member convenience.
Pittsburgh FCU has no outside stockholders. Instead
each of our members is a part owner of the credit union. Rather than maximizing
profits from customers to satisfy stockholders, we judge our success by
member satisfaction and return excess earnings each year to our membership
in the form of:

|
Competitive dividend rates
on savings and investment accounts
|

|
No-cost or low fees for
financial services
|

|
Competitive interest rates
on loans to make borrowing money affordable
|

|
Adding new products,
services and technologies to meet the changing needs of our members
|
Members of Pittsburgh FCU also enjoy the benefit of security as their savings are federally insured to $100,000 by the National Credit Union Administration.
Tired
of high fees and being just a number at some big, for-profit financial
institution? Why not become a member of Pittsburgh FCU? We're
confident that you'll love the difference!

DISASTER
RECOVERY INFORMATION
Hurricane Katrina taught us all many lessons about disaster preparedness
– or lack thereof. One of the biggest problems was communication.
Disasters can happen anywhere and credit unions can experience interruption
of services from power outages, severe storms, and terrorist attacks.
Your credit union is taking a proactive approach to this possible problem.
Therefore, in the case of a disaster involving Pittsburgh Federal Credit
Union, we are asking our members to check our website for instructions,
listen to your television or radio if possible, and/or to call the Credit
Union National Emergency Information System hotline for additional information
at 1-877-285-6228.
